The annual "Walk for Health" Walk-a-thon will be held in Roberto Clemente State Park on Sunday, April 11, 2010 between the hours of 10 am-2 pm.
The athletic fund raising event is a not-for-profit endeavor coordinated by the Diversity Foundation in cooperation with The National Puerto Rican Parade.
The Walk-for-Health has been created to stimulate community awareness and raise funds to help fight a variety of ailments that affect our community. This year our focus is on breast cancer.
It is also a great opportunity for your friends and family to enjoy Roberto Clemente State Park and get motivated to a Healthier Lifestyle. So come and join us in support of the fight against these ailments that plague our communities.

By Bus: 18 Bus and 40 Bus to River Park Towers and Roberto Clemente State Park Bridge. Walk down the ramp to the park. By Subway: Lexington Avenue IRT Woodlawn Road #4 to Burnside Station. Then take BX40 bus westbound to the last stop. IND 205th Street Grand Concourse "D" to 170th Street Station. Then take Route 18 bus westbound to the park
